Sadhana: The Ritual of Personal Practice

Sādhana :  “ a means of accomplishing something”, a term coming from the yogic tradition referring to any spiritual exercise that is aimed at progressing the sādhaka (seeker or practitioner) towards the very ultimate expression of his or her life in this reality, a collection of practices that hold meaning and value for you, personal practice

Join Lila and Natalie Rousseau for two full days of practice and learning in Nelson, BC this May. We will gather together in order to shine a light on the topic of sadhana and our relationship to personal practice. We will explore various gateways that can act as inspiration for practice, gateways such as lunar and seasonal wisdom, astrology, Hindu mythology, Tantric philosophy and the traditional healing systems of both Ayurveda and Traditional Chinese Medicine. We will engage the practices of asana, meditation, and pranayama as ritual acts and make space for both group discussion and personal contemplation.

This will be a rich offering that is meant to support you in your own lifelong relationship to yogic practice in all its many forms.
